In our 9th episode, we talk about the effects of alcoholism in our community. Our guest, Jessica Hoppe, who is a is New York based-writer and creator of @nuevayorka, talks about the lack of understanding regarding alcoholism in the Latinx community, the necessity to evolve past the demonization of the alcoholic and the assumption that the disorder is nothing more than a moral failing.
